TX GLO - RFP 0719-LP - OLD QUEEN ISABELLA CAUSEWAY - DEMOLITION AND CONSTRUCTION
Texas General Land Office requests Competitive Sealed Proposals for the following project:
SCOPE OF WORK:
The overall goal of the Project is to remove the Old Queen Isabella causeway, then transport and place the salvageable materials to create a submerged, engineered reef approximately 10.1 miles offshore of the Brownsville Ship Channel entrance jetties at South Padre Island. The work is located within the Lower Laguna Madre in the vicinity of Port Isabel, Texas, and within the Gulf of Mexico.
ESTIMATED PROJECT BUDGET: 11,000,000 to $15,000,000.
